About us

Hey everyone, I’m Phil, founder of Masta Scaffold Melbourne.

I started out as an apprentice Sheet metal worker in roofing and guttering nearly 40 years ago—back when fall protection wasn’t even a thing!

After working across Adelaide, Darwin, Alice Springs, and Melbourne, I moved into structural steel. Eventually, my wife and I decided it was time to run our own race—to create a business that prioritised family, professionalism, and safety.

I got my scaffold licence later in life—not the usual path—but it’s given me a massive edge. I know what it’s like on the tools, and I’ve built our company around solving problems, seeing the job in 3D before we even unload the truck, and exceeding expectations.

We’re a family-run team that genuinely cares about getting people home safe and happy at the end of the day. If you're after a scaffold crew that’s easy to work with and takes pride in the job—reach out anytime.
